Corona Blog 08: The Eye Of The Storm
Father, thank you for who you areWhere is your still place?
As corona and conflict swirl around us, where is our place of safety?
Is it family… church leader… friends… work… nature’s beauty…
Or is it God…
Creator of heaven and earth, Father to the fatherless, Saviour of the undeserving,
The One Who knows us from the inside out,
Who gave His very self to restore us to Him,
Whose love is integral to His very Being,
Who invites us into His presence, anytime, anywhere… to put our hand in His hand… our heart in His heart.
He is our place of safety and security, a place of deep peace, where we belong.
‘Father, thank You for Who You are. Thank You that You are our still place. We trust in You.’

Hi, my name is Mary. I’ve been a member of City Gate church for ages, and my desire to know God grows every year. I’ve recently been exploring the relationship we can have with God as Father because of Jesus, and that colours everything I see.
